User statement
The information in the fertiliser publication is used by the Northern Ireland government as evidence for assessing market conditions and evaluating agricultural policy in relation to fertiliser usage and nutrient content. Fertiliser statistics are published quarterly. Results from the survey are used to estimate the fertiliser component of the Aggregate Agricultural Account for Northern Ireland.
