Randalstown Forest Nature Reserve

Nature reserves are chosen from among the very best examples of our wildlife, habitats and geology. They contain a wide range of species, communities and geology and their designation is a public recognition by Government of their importance.

Location

This beautiful and peaceful nature reserve can be accessed on the Moneynick Road out of Randalstown and by turning left onto the Staffordstown Road.  Visitors will then be able to see a signpost for Randalstown Forest.  However, visitors are advised there will be a 1 mile walk from the car park near the forest entrance to the reserve itself.
