This upland lake commands a cliff-topsetting overlooking the picturesque Benone strand and Donegal. Fishing with dry sedge can be excellent on summer evenings. Disabled angling facility is available. The fishery can be very exposed in inclement weather and anglers should be dressed appropriately.
This artificial lake is on a cliff-top in a forest area overlooking Benone strand. Due to increasing demand in this tourist area, the lake is stocked regularly with rainbow trout. In all seasons, anglers should wear warm, suitable outdoor clothes as the fishery is exposed.

The presence of Zebra Mussels is still preventing the stocking of fish from Movanagher Fish Farm. For more information, please visit Zebra Mussels and impact on fish stocking in the Public Angling Estate.
