This Lough has excellent access around the shores and is particularly suited to the disabled angler. Best fly patterns are traditional wets, such as Zulu or Mallard and Claret, or small black lure patterns.

The presence of Zebra Mussels is still preventing the stocking of fish from Movanagher Fish Farm. For more information, please visit Zebra Mussels and impact on fish stocking in the Public Angling Estate.

Anglers should be aware that, weather permitting, members of North Down Model Aircraft Club will be at Moorlough Sunday 9th and 23rd of June.
