This is an upland lough and comes into its own when the weather gets warmer. It fishes well from the month of April through to September; small dark flies with a touch of silver in them are deadly patterns on this fishery.
This mountain lough in Lisnaskea Forest is known for good brown trout fishing. Anglers can wade on one side of the shore. This lough offers excellent fishing from a boat. Takeable brown trout stocks are added to wild stocks. Fishing is particularly good in the evening time.

The presence of Zebra Mussels is still preventing the stocking of fish from Movanagher Fish Farm. For more information, please visit Zebra Mussels and impact on fish stocking in the Public Angling Estate.
