Seagahan is a brown trout stocked fishery, located between the City of Armagh and Markethill. Armagh Fisheries Ltd manages this fishery on behalf of the Department. Five day tickets per day are available to DAERA season permit holders at a reduced rate.

  • From the City of Armagh: Take the A29 road towards Keady for just over half a mile (0.62 miles); turn left onto the B31 Newtownhamilton Road and continue for a further 9.44 miles to the junction with the Ballymacnab Road; turn left and Seagahan Reservoir is a further 0.62 miles along this road.
  • From Markethill: Take the B3 Coolmillish Road towards Keady for 3.91 miles and turn right onto the Ballymacnab Road, at the signpost for Seagahan Dam; the reservoir is a further 0.74 miles along this road.
