The resticted stretches of the River Bush are prime salmon beats. Spring fishing is at its best from mid April to end of May. The grilse run usually peaks in July. The Town Stretch offers fishing on one of the best holding pools on the river, and fishes well at a variety of water heights.

From Bushmills: This beat of 300 metres is in the centre of Bushmills town. The Doctors Pool is a fast deep run and is the best fly water on the Town stretch.
