This Lough is well stocked with good quality brown and rainbow trout. The shore is mostly firm and safe for wading but the north and south tips should be avoided. A surfaced path is provided along the west shore.

The presence of Zebra Mussels is still preventing the stocking of fish from Movanagher Fish Farm. For more information, please visit Zebra Mussels and impact on fish stocking in the Public Angling Estate.
